Barrington Estate

About this home

Barrington Estate is a showstopper from the curb. This single-story home in Barrington, Newberry, Florida sits back on a sweeping lot under massive old oaks, with crisp white siding, layered gables, an arched entry with tall dark wood doors and a long concrete drive to a side-entry garage.

Inside, a tiered crystal chandelier sets the tone in the foyer, and the private office gets its own statement light. The living room is built for gathering, with a coffered ceiling, a fireplace and arched built-ins on both sides. The chef's kitchen pairs crisp white cabinetry with a rich dark wood island under brass pendants, and an arched glass door opens to a walk-in pantry. The dining room soars under a vaulted ceiling with a wall of windows looking straight out to the pool.

The primary suite is a true retreat, with a tray ceiling, a canopy bed and a spa-style bath in marble-look tile with a glass shower and a makeup vanity. The walk-in closet has a center island under its own chandelier. Everyday spaces shine too, from a sage green laundry room with patterned tile to a cozy bonus room. Out back, resort-style living takes over: a rectangular pool on a wide paver deck, a covered lanai with a wood ceiling and fireplace, and a full outdoor kitchen under a stainless hood.
